Institutional Culture Assessment Team Visits the Securities Depository Center

On Monday, 2025/08/25, the CEO of the Securities Depository Center, Mrs. Sarah Tarawneh, received His Excellency Mr. Yasser Al-Nsour, Secretary General of the Civil Service and Public Administration Commission, along with the Institutional Culture Assessment Team in the public sector. The visit aimed to review the institutional practices at the SDC and assess the extent to which core values are embedded in the work environment, contributing to the promotion of a culture of excellence and the improvement of service quality.
During the meeting, the CEO emphasized the importance of this project and its role in instilling the principles of institutional culture and promoting the positive values within the work environment, which directly reflects on the quality and efficiency of the services provided to the SDC’s stakeholders. She also praised the vital role played by the Civil Service and Public Administration Commission in leading this project at the national level, through the provision of a comprehensive framework for evaluating and developing institutional practices.
For his part, Al-Nsour affirmed that the purpose of the visit is to document best institutional practices and explore opportunities for improvement and development, within a comprehensive vision aimed at generalizing successful experiences across all government entities. He also noted that the project is based on core values such as transparency, accountability, openness to change and innovation, and citizen-centricity, in order to deliver innovative and distinguished government services.
During the visit, the assessment team presented a comprehensive vision of the core values of institutional culture in the public sector, focusing on transparency, accountability, innovation, openness to change, and excellence in customer service. These values aim to strengthen the path toward institutional excellence and leadership in the public sector.
The visit also included dialogue sessions with the SDC’s leadership and staff, as well as a field tour of several departments within the SDC. The aim was to observe current practices and measure indicators of institutional culture, within a national framework aligned with the priorities of the Public Sector Modernization Roadmap.
It is worth noting that the visit was part of a series of field visits conducted during the second phase of the Institutional Culture Assessment Project, which aims to identify strengths and opportunities and leverage them to improve the government work environment and promote a culture of excellence and efficiency in public service delivery.
