The Securities Depository Center (SDC) participated in the GOV AI & Data Summit – Jordan 2025, organized by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship in Amman on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Amman. The summit featured a wide range of experts in artificial intelligence and digital transformation. The SDC was represented by Eng. Sana Al-Shawish, Director of the Systems Development and Electronic Services Department, who participated in a panel discussion on artificial intelligence in public services. She emphasized the SDC's role in the capital market by protecting investor rights and implementing clearing and settlement operations.

She noted that digital transformation has become a necessity to improve the efficiency of services provided to recipients. She then reviewed the SDC's initiatives in this area, including a group of projects to develop the technical infrastructure and modernize the electronic systems, in addition to launching the "e-Portfolio" service application via smartphones.

Participating in such specialized events is a valuable opportunity to expand the knowledge base and enhance communication with international expertise. This allows for exposure to global best practices and their application in adopting the latest technologies, contributing to supporting the development of the Jordanian capital market and keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the field of digital technology.
