Securities Depository Center Enables Direct Access to Securities Ownership via “Sanad” App

Date: 03/05/2026
As part of its ongoing efforts to implement digital transformation and enhance access to financial data, the Securities Depository Center (SDC) has announced the introduction of a new digital feature within the “Sanad” application, enabling Jordanian individuals to directly view their securities ownership.

This feature allows users to access and view their ownership data in real time through the “Sanad” app, without the need for any additional requests or procedures. Users can simply log into the application to securely and conveniently review the details of their holdings.

This step comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, following the completion of all necessary technical and operational requirements, and as part of strengthening integration with the national digital identity ecosystem and electronic verification services.

The feature contributes to expanding inclusive access for citizens to their financial data through the “Sanad” app interface, particularly enabling users to view details of securities ownership registered in the records of the Securities Depository Center. This aligns with national digital transformation objectives of the Jordanian Government and reinforces the role of the SDC as a key component of the capital market infrastructure.

Ms. Sarah Tarawneh, Chief Executive Officer of the Securities Depository Center, stated that the introduction of this feature represents an important step in empowering investors to access details of their securities holdings registered with the SDC. She noted that the service relies on direct integration with the SDC’s databases and seamless connectivity with the digital identity and verification systems within the “Sanad” app, ensuring the highest levels of data accuracy and security.

She added that the SDC continues to develop its digital services in line with international best practices, highlighting the launch of the updated version of the “e-Portfolio” application in 2024. This platform serves as an integrated digital solution that enables investors to monitor their holdings, review account details, and track executed transactions within a secure and user-friendly environment.

The Securities Depository Center reaffirms its ongoing commitment to developing innovative digital solutions that enhance the efficiency and transparency of the capital market in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, while supporting an improved digital investor experience.
