The Securities Depository Center (SDC) Wins the National Integrity Index (NII) Award

The Jordan Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) announced on Monday, October 20, 2025, during an official ceremony held under the patronage of the Prime Minister, the results of the second cycle (2024–2025) of the National Integrity Index (NII).
The results cover public administration institutions participating in the index, which included 119 national institutions from various ministries, public institutions, hospitals, and municipalities.
Mrs. Sarah Tarawneh, CEO of SDC, announces that the SDC winning third place in the category of public institutions. This honor reflects the level of self-compliance and the deep commitment of the SDC to upholding the core pillars of the National Integrity Standards—namely, the rule of law, accountability, transparency, justice and equal opportunity, and good governance—across all its affairs, operations, activities, and interactions. It represents a significant institutional achievement, therefore, strengthening its position among national institutions as a leading model in implementing methodologies and mechanisms that support the reform-oriented approach advocated by the National Integrity Index. Ultimately contributing to its role in safekeeping and registry and protecting and attracting investors in the Jordanian Capital market through strengthening confidence in the SDC’s operations and procedures.
She added that this recognition represents the culmination of a long journey of dedicated work at the SDC and she stressed that integrity is not merely a benchmark for measurement, but a deeply rooted culture and a daily practice that reflects ongoing commitment to the values and standards of national integrity and the mechanisms for their practical implementation.
She also valued the efforts of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission in making this initiative a success aimed at enhancing administrative reform, improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of services, all within an institutional framework that reflects the image that public administration institutions in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan rightfully deserve under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, may God protect him, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
